About us

The Gisborne Gazette is the free monthly community newspaper of the South Ward of Macedon Ranges Shire, focusing on news and activities of Gisborne, New Gisborne, Gisborne South, Macedon, Mount Macedon and Bullengarook.

The paper is produced by a team of volunteers. Launched in September 2006, the paper has grown to be a 40-page, larger format, full-colour community newspaper, highly valued by the community it serves.

The Gazette strives to be a newspaper 'by the community, for the community'.
